This seminar prepares you for the SECOND test level, the company qualification/company examination at DLR.
It is suitable for all candidates,
- who apply to the ADAC with or without a pilot’s license
- who apply to Austrian Airways with or without a pilot’s license
- who were invited to the FQ/FU by another company
This preparation course takes place online (zoom), but can also be attended on site and consists of 3 parts:
1st DCT Training (Dyadic Cooperation Test):
- If necessary, the content and function of the test will be explained again.
- The way the test works in dual mode is discussed in detail and it is shown what is really important in this test (and that is not achieving a maximum score, as propagated by a certain competitor product 😉 )
- We explain the distribution of roles (how do I behave in which role during the test) and the associated “wording” in detail.
- Various strategies are discussed for the different test scenarios (all of which the software can display) and how to proceed if, for example, the game partner does not know the test during the assessment).
- You will receive tips on how best to practise the test and which scores you should (and should not) achieve.
- You will be taught the optimum learning strategy to help you achieve the objectives of the test as quickly as possible.
- Of course, you will practise the test during the course in dual mode under supervision.
- Ideally, you have already practiced with the training software in advance and can therefore ask individual questions about tasks that you find particularly difficult.
- For the DCT test in particular, it is important that you have familiarized yourself with the training software in advance to such an extent that you are confident with the single mode!
- Thanks to the small number of participants of only 2 people, your trainer can focus on you and work individually with you on your approach to the test and follow each run in dual mode with the second participant and always intervene immediately.
2. group game training
- A very detailed briefing shows you what is important in a group game and why it is used for aptitude diagnostics.
- All the “do’s and don’ts” are explained and you are taught what is important in a group game and what is not
- All important rules of conduct for this situational task are discussed in detail
- Of course, all possible group games that can be used are explained and shown to you in detail
- Instead of playing through the group games in the course, you will receive tips for the various possible interpersonal situations that can arise during a group game (how do I react if a fellow player is extremely dominant and takes over everything; what do I do if I can’t keep up, etc. etc.). The former would be a waste of time (this group constellation of a seminar is guaranteed not to be repeated during the test) and only helps the one-week face-to-face seminars to save the day 😉
3. interview training
- Our interview training takes place exclusively in individual sessions. D
- The other seminar participant will not be part of this personal conversation
- First, you will receive a short briefing about the interview
- We will then conduct a realistic 1:1 interview with you lasting approximately 50 to 70 minutes.
- You have already provided us with your CV in advance and, with your consent, created a personality factor profile of yourself
- We know the ins and outs of a wide variety of interviews and can therefore recreate in a very authentic way how your interview will take place in real life.
- We will show you the various situational tasks that can be used and test your stress and frustration tolerance
- After the interview, you will receive very detailed feedback and we will go through the entire interview with you again.
- Depending on how the interview went, you will receive a more or less long “homework list”
- After the seminar, you have the opportunity to talk to your trainer again after you have completed your “homework” and have any questions.
