Selection process with Interpersonal for training with Eurowings at the European Flight Academy

Both Ready Entries and Ab Initio candidates without a pilot’s license have the opportunity to apply to Eurowings and undergo ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) training at the European Flight Academy.

In each case, the selection process is divided into a Basic Qualification (BQ) and a Corporate Qualification (CQ). These are carried out by the company Interpersonal in Hamburg and not by DLR. Accordingly, the selection procedure for a career at Eurowings differs from the Basic Qualification (BU) and Group Qualification of the Lufthansa Group, whose selection procedures are still carried out by DLR.

For applicants without a pilot’s license, the ATPL training for Eurowings will take place at the European Flight Academy after successful selection.

Applicants without a pilot’s license must meet the following requirements:

  • Secondary school leaving certificate and completed vocational training or a general/specialized higher education entrance qualification
  • Fluency in English
  • At least 18 years of age at the start of training
  • Medical fitness check (incl. eye test)
  • Permanent residence permit with unrestricted work permit within the EU and Switzerland

Vimana also has the right offer for ATPL training at the European Flight Academy. Both specially created software and seminars for targeted training for the Eurowings Basic Qualification and Corporate Qualification offer optimal preparation for passing the selection process.
